Pre Race preparations
Rachel has been invited to assist prior to the race start in London.
1/ In the preparation of the yacht to sail from Gosport ( Portsmouth ) to St Katherine’s Dock, London.
2/ To sail her as Crew from Gosport to London. 4 days.
3/ in preparation of the boat prior to race start.
She is well qualified for these tasks, given her experience on Rhoda. It will give her some more good experience prior to joining the race in Uruguay. She will also get to know her skipper and AQP ( Additional Qualified Person ) better, and other crew members.
She is pleased to have been invited, and has accepted the offer. Well done Rachel!
